We offer a training program for those who qualify and wish to learn every aspect of becoming an animal behavior consultant or animal behaviorist. Our training programs combine on-site training at a facility in Virginia, required reading materials, a 200 page manual, advice from other experts, hands on training, online training, and valuable industry/business guides designed to assist you in starting your animal behavior business from scratch.
Requirements for Qualification
Applicant must have a relevant Graduate Degree from an accredited college or university. Master of Arts or Master of Science Degrees in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Education, Animal Behavior, Zoology or Biology are preferred.
Applicant must have some experience with companion animals (dogs and cats preferred), whether with own animals or professionally.
Applicant must demonstrate excellent people skills, communication skills, dedication to animals, follow through, and initiative.
