Yody Blass, M.A., is the Director of Companion Animal Behavior and has professionally treated hundreds of pet behavior cases since 1990, primarily in the metropolitan D.C. area. She received her Masters degree in Psychology from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, and completed an internship in Animal Behavior in Denver, Colorado. Her Bachelors degree is also in Psychology, obtained from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.
Ms. Blass completed two programs offered by Cornell University, including "Solving Feline Behavior Problems" in 1994 and "Solving Canine Behavior Problems" in 1999. She has attended many courses and lectures throughout the country by leading experts in the field, including Dr. Ian Dunbar, Dr. Nicholas Dodman, Dr. Gerrard Flannigan, Dr. Katherine Houpt, Dr. Suzanne Hetts, Dr. Illana Reisner, and others.

Yody lives in Leesburg, Virginia with four dogs (three Cockapoos and a Saint Bernard), and one cat. As the Director of Companion Animal Behavior, she has developed an intensive training program in animal behavior and oversees a team of Masters Level Animal Behavior Counselors to assist with her busy practice in the metropolitan D.C. area.
